Lameness

What is Lameness?

Lameness is when an animal is limping or not using one of its legs. It is a common issue amongst all animals.

If you’re concerned over potential signs of lameness affecting your animal,  the question you have to ask yourself is, “is the animal able to perform the function I need them to perform pain-free?”

For example:

  • Can your horse run how you know they can run? Does it break out of the gates fast and straight?
  • Is your dog jumping in the truck like he used to?
  • Can your bull mount your cows?
  • Can your mare support your stud when he mounts?
  • Can your bull buck and make his turns like you need him to?
  • Is your horse able to make every turn smooth and even around each barrel?
  • Is your dog able to sleep well at night?
  • Is your cat getting up and down like she used to?

If your answer suggests that you are not happy with how your animal is performing, then you need our help.
