Plason Therapy

What does Plason mean?

Plason is the name of a machine that is able to convert a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen to a gas called nitric oxide. The name plason comes from the word plasma. Nitrogen and Oxygen are both found in the air we breathe. This machine is able to convert those gasses into a usable form that is capable of assisting the body with the normal healing process.

What does Plason do and how does it work?

Nitric Oxide(NO) is a compound that the body produces naturally to:

  • Fight infection

  • Kill bacteria

  • Increase blood flow to a target/injured area

  • Regulate blood pressure

  • Stimulate the brain

  • Protect the heart

  • Regulate nervous activity

  • Activate white blood cells that kill bacteria

The Plason produces NO which we can use directly on wounds and other problem areas. By applying NO directly to wounds, we have seen remarkable success with difficult infections, large swellings, and even allergies.

Sound too good to be true? Put our words to the test. This non-surgical and non-invasive treatment lasts 5 to 7 minutes depending on the size of the affected area and results can be as soon as the same day. Our veterinarians suggest multiple treatments in an effort to provide continuous support throughout the bodies healing process.

The beneficial effects of Nitric Oxide that have been discussed are supported by the research of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine winners Robert F. Furchgott, Louis J. Ignarro and Ferid Murad.
