Laser Therapy

What does Laser Therapy do?

The laser emitted by our machine penetrates deep into the animals body and speeds up the metabolism of the cell. The energy of the laser is absorbed by various chemicals in the body. The energy is converted to soothing heat.

The laser also stimulates the energy producing part of the cell (mitochondria) to produce chemical energy (ATP). The laser also causes the cell to release a chemical called Nitric Oxide (NO) and other reactive oxygen species (ROS). NO and ROS are powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compounds. They also act to improve blood flow.

The laser requires no clipping or sedation so you don’t need to worry about doing therapy before, after or even during shows and performances. Treatment time is short and lasts 6 to 10 minutes.
